Livelihood projects that facilitate education and economic opportunities

Our livelihood initiatives look to empower communities through providing a mix of educational and economic prospects. These include the construction of schools and other educational infrastructures, but also initiatives such as mentoring or professional training programmes, tailored to equip individuals with the skills needed for sustainable employment.

Examples of our educational infrastructure include establishing school libraries in Indonesia or revitalising socio-educational centres in Madagascar, Brazil, Comoros, and South Africa. Our professional-oriented initiatives are exemplified by professional masseur training for visually impaired individuals in Brazil or entrepreneurship training for ylang-ylang pickers in the Comoros.

Pursuing livelihood objectives contributes to a world where education serves as more than just a gateway to knowledge, but rather as a means for prosperous inclusivity for those in need.
