Mexico: A partnership to improve children’s health

A digital health & nutrition module to foster healthy daily habits.

In a wish to address the issue of children and teenagers’ obesity, intensified due to the pandemic, we partnered together with a group of Givaudan volunteers from various Mexican sites with a renowned NGO to develop a digital training module aimed at improving current health, hygiene and nutrition practices of children and teenagers, and specifically targeted at the Mexican population. When the module is fully developed, public school teachers, will be trained so that they can disseminate their learnings to their students and their parents.

The Givaudan volunteers also participated in awareness sessions with children from vulnerable families about the importance of hygiene and handwashing. They will continue throughout 2022 to take part in volunteering activities to support children and their families to improve their health habits.
