Argentina: A gastronomic centre to empower women and nourish children
Construction of a centre providing free meals for children and creating employment opportunities for women in the community.
In Buenos Aires, families from one low-income neighbourhood face socio-economic challenges notably in terms of access to food and employment opportunities. To tackle this issue, we are supporting the construction of a gastronomic centre serving children and residents alike. Beyond providing food access, this initiative seeks to empower local women by offering managerial positions at the center, thereby creating a source of income for them.

With the help of our motivated Givaudan volunteers and culinary students from a local university, a group of women will receive comprehensive training in culinary arts, food safety, and entrepreneurship. Once the center opens its doors, collaborations with food delivery services will further expand commercial prospects.
