Switzerland: Elevating nature-positive start-ups
We are partnering with a nature-positive business accelerator to mentor, fund and support start-up ventures that rebuild and protect ecosystems, helping create lasting benefits for both people and the environment.
In late 2024, the Foundation adopted a new approach to support nature-positive ventures. We partnered with a Swiss nature-positive business accelerator which selects start-ups from around the world with strong potential in areas like sustainable ecosystem management, regenerative agriculture, and circular solutions for potential support.
In 2025, Givaudan mentors volunteered their time to guide five early-stage ventures, offering support on strategy, marketing and practical steps to help them grow and strengthen their impact.
Adám, one of the mentors, described his experience:
“It was fascinating to apply my expertise and see how small, targeted guidance can make a difference for these start-ups,” he explains. “One insight that really stood out to me was learning how data on insect populations can provide far more valuable insight into land restoration than the more obvious species.”
The mentoring programme will continue throughout 2026, with more Givaudan employees sharing their skills and knowledge to support promising start-ups offering innovative nature- positive solutions.
